"method": "Bingeroll groups the anime-offline-database entries that belong to one show into seasons. For each show, the dataset's TV and ONA entries are put in order by their season and year; a December start counts as the winter season of the next year. Each entry is matched to the next run of consecutive episodes of the show, as long as its episode count. A season boundary is accepted only when the show's own numbering moves to a new season or there is a gap of 4 weeks or more between air dates. When air dates are missing, or two episodes of the same season of the show aired less than 4 weeks apart, a boundary is accepted only when the dataset episode counts and the crosswalk episode offset agree. Aired episodes after the last matched entry that no dataset entry covers yet are shown as a provisional season, one per season of the show, starting at a season change or a gap of 4 weeks or more. Any other case is held for manual review and is not published as a season. Specials and OVAs are extras, not seasons, unless they are listed under finales in this file. The lists below are every change Bingeroll makes to the dataset: finales, part names, episode-count overrides, duplicate shows and watch-order links.",
